A project that I created in my sophomore year of college. We were working from a concept art piece that was provided to us. This project taught me some valuable lessons about how to go about creating free form metal shapes and how to make those look normal enough. Is still a work in progress and I wouldn’t say it’s even close to finished but It was more modeling study and not meant to be a finished piece.
This was another project from that class. It was another study of a piece of concept art that was provided to us. I am still really happy with how it turned out despite it seeming unfinished. it really simulates the approach of how it would feel in the game industry where someone else will make the concept art and then someone else would also be in charge of texturing it after you model.

This one was near and dear to me. It was another project where the concept was found but this time we are the one who chose it. This particular concept was from a video game called DUNE; Spice Wars. It was really cool to being the concept to life a 3D model and then see how it would’ve looked or compared to the actual model
This is my original character Silverwing. This is my pride and joy. My son haha. I created this guy from scratch from ideation to concept art to preliminary sculpts all the way to the finished model and then texturing and presentation. This is one of my first project where I consider it truly finished and I am so proud of it.

This was another step outside of his comfort zone for me. This was the first large scale environment that I built from the ground up. Again the concept was provided for us but this was also built from the ground up including modeling and texturing. There were a lot of hiccups along the way that I had to figure out but I got there in the end I am very happy with the end product.
This was another projec that I worked on during my sophomore year. This was a creature design class where, similar to the character design class we had to design the creature from the bottom up from concept art to sculpting to texturing and posing and final to presentation.
